Caring for your puppy

At  Luxor Elite Sphynx California, we believe every puppy deserves a healthy, loving, and comfortable start in life. Below is the care routine we recommend to help your baby adjust smoothly to their new home.

Your puppy should always have access to fresh water and dry food throughout the day.

We also like to offer healthy fresh treats in moderation, such as:

Turkey meat,

Cottage cheese,

Carrots,

Cucumbers,

Fresh foods should be given in small amounts and introduced gradually to avoid tummy upset.

Puppies thrive on consistency, love, and gentle attention. We recommend:

Daily playtime and interaction,

Soft blankets and a warm sleeping area,

Safe chew toys for teething,

Positive reinforcement and patience during training,

We recommend using:

Disposable puppy pads,

Puppy toilet grate/tray systems,

This helps keep the area cleaner and supports early potty training habits. Consistency and praise are very important during training.

To keep your puppy happy and healthy:

Always provide clean water,

Keep food bowls and potty areas clean,

Schedule regular veterinary checkups,

Follow vaccination and deworming schedules provided by your breeder/veterinarian,

It is completely normal for puppies to need a few days to adjust to a new environment. Give them plenty of love, reassurance, and quiet rest while they settle in with their new family.
